Gary Allan

Gary Allan has no doubt made his mark on the country music industry. Hit songs like “Songs About Rain,” “Right Where I Need To Be,” “Watchin’ Airplanes,” and many more have made him a favorite amongst the modern country music fans. Allan has also has been known for delivering a powerful moving ballad. It’s hard-rockin’, country music that has traded in its twang for a gravelly growl millions of fans recognize as the voice of Gary Allan. It’s raw and emotional. Gary proves that, though times may change, the thread of truth at the center of his music remains the same. He feels some changes come from the fans themselves. It’s not like he is trying for a new direction. The fans dictate the music. Gary feeds off the audience, whatever they’re really wanting is what they drag out of him. He’s got the edgy side of the country crowd and he wants to keep them.
Allan has also made a conscious decision to spend more time songwriting, and he feels he is writing better. His theory is, the more you write, the more you’ve got to say and the deeper you can express your emotions. If you’ve been to any of Gary’s shows you know that when he sings about “baring my soul for the price of your ticket,” he’s not just blowing smoke.
Most of all he just wants people to come along for the ride---and hear the sounds of a life in progress. It’s a good listen, and he is excited for fans to hear it. He’ll take you through a whole range of emotions and it’s going to take you on a journey. That’s his goal.

Bomshel, a duo signed to Curb Records, consists of Idaho native Kristy Osmonson (known as Kristy O.) on fiddle and vocals and Michigan-born Kelley Shepard on guitar and vocals.
Osmonson began touring the Northwest and Canada at age 4 in a group called the Fiddler's Hatchery and was inspired to pursue a career in country music after watching a television broadcast of Garth Brooks concert at New York's Central Park.
Shepard grew up singing in small venues in Phoenix and received a career break when she sent a tape to The Ellen Degeneres Show, where she was noticed by singer-songwriter Brian McKnight, who began developing her early songwriting career.
The girls are roommates and their house serves as a songwriter's haven and as their studio. "I love that I can do my own vocals because I'm a control freak about my vocals," says Kelley. The cool thing about it is our records sound exactly how we want them to. "Every song you hear it's going to be us," says Kelley. "You"ll hear our fun side and our sad side.
"When you buy a Bomshel record, you are going to be bringing home a piece of the two of us," Kristy says. "It's a scary experience to now be putting our work out there because it's definately a piece of our soul."
Kelley and Kristy's vibrant vocals and envieble writing skills are earning the respect of such heroes as Brooks & Dunn, and fans coast to coast. Bomshel released a single, "Fight Like A Girl", in early 2009.
This duo has been nominated for the 2010 ACM Award for top vocal duo of the year award.
