DIAPER DERBY RULES

Babies must be 6-12 months old and not yet walking.
Arrive at least 15 minutes before event.
Contestants may be divided into multiple heats depending on participation.
A waiver must be signed the day of the event.
Contestants who stand up or walk during the Derby will be disqualified as gently as possible.
Only two adults may accompany the child at the "Racetrack." One adult is stationed at the launch area and the other adult is stationed at the finish line.
Parents may use any object except food to coax the child to crawl to them but may not step between the starting line and the finish line during the Derby.
Items may not be thrown from the starting line to the finish line. Doing so is grounds for disqualification.
Anyone crossing the start or finish line other than the child will disqualify the racer. Adults must stay off of the track unless an emergency or to remove child from race.
Those on the sideline are not allowed to assist contestants except to cheer them on.
There is a 5-minute time limit on each race. If no child has crossed the finish line in that amount of time, the child closest to the finish line will be deemed the winner.
Decision of the judges is final in all cases. No instant replays.
Photos and/or videos from the event may be used to advertise future events without compensation to participate.
Child must touch the finish line to complete the race.
Photos and videos are encouraged.
Participation in the WWFFD Diaper Derby is free.
