  2013 Frontier Days Wine

         

     

In the fall of 1866, cowboys and farmers gathered to participate in the first Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days.  This western celebration is a tradition in the Valley every Labor Day weekend.

Tex McLeod was the inspiration for local artist Mollie Fenton as she created the label for

“Cowboy Courage”. Tex won world champion titles in bronc riding, trick roping and wild horse racing.  He later traveled the globe as a star in “Wild West Shows”. Tex is the bronc rider featured on a

1913 felt pennant of the Walla Walla Frontier Days.
